The School Advisory Council exists at the discretion of the Pastor and Principal and is designed to be of a strictly consultative nature. The Council is designed to serve as a sounding board to the Principal. When called upon, the Council provides feedback to the Principal and Pastor regarding policy and standards for the school. Matters involving personnel, and individual student concerns of a confidential nature are solely the purview of administrators and pastors and are not appropriate topics for school council consideration. SAC is comprised of 11 Holy Trinity school parent members, one teacher representative, Pastor, Principal, and Assistant Principal. Parent Members serve a 3-year term.3rd 

Purpose

The Holy Trinity SAC shall support and advise the school administration and pastor in their efforts to uphold the school's mission, values, and goals.  It shall consist of eleven appointed persons, the pastor, vice principal, principal, and a teacher representative.

The SAC shall serve as a body representing all school families in the interest of the school. The function is to serve as collaborators with the school administration and pastor to support and strengthen operation of the school and to promote a better understanding of and support for Catholic education. The SAC shall develop and monitor a long-term strategic plan for the school, assisting the pastor and principal in identifying needs and concerns so objectives can be reached effectively. SAC shall also aid in the public relations and promotion of the school.

Interested in Joining SAC?

The SAC will send information to all HT parents in the spring to solicit any open positions. The SAC will discuss candidates who have expressed interest in serving on the committee and make recommendations to the pastor and principal for final approval. Appointments shall be made prior to the final SAC meeting of the year (normally in April or May).
